Web4 de nov. de 2009 · You may have more than a single problem. Yes, the dimmer switch should just connect +12V (the 15 color wire) to either the 12 or 13 color wire. I doubt the wire color should change from 12 to 13 between the dimmer switch and the bulbs. Also, the shop manual schematic says the 12 wire is the HI beams, not the LO. Beside it I also added a momentary pushbutton to activate high beams when the headlights are off (or on for that matter) for a "flash to pass" type feature. Our driving is probably 85% "rural" and 15% "suburban" (though it's still a small town area) and I'm impressed with how well the system works. It's never failed to correctly detect an oncoming vehicle for me...ever.
